What did you do to your TJ today?

Before I order the wrong parts, does anyone know the part numbers for the two valves on the top of the valve cover (PCV and CCV I think?) for a 2006 Wrangler? I did a search and I've seen that the back one has a small hole in the valve but then I read that 06 is different and doesn't have a...

Keeping dogs in the Jeep when the top is off

For our Golden Retriever I have a short leash looped around the middle of the top rollbar. We connect it to a chest harness.

    Budget friendly front steering replacement

I've decided to finally start chipping away at replacing my steering parts and wanted to ask the experts what you recommend for a budget friendly setup? My 06 is all stock and about the only thing I may do in the future is a small body lift. I'm trying to do this without breaking the bank so...

    Rear main seal keeps leaking

Thanks guys! I'll check with the mechanic and dive in to the specifics of what he did. I've rubbed my hand around the valve cover and it's definitely dirty but doesn't seem like a lot of oil. The last time he worked in it I mentioned he should check that and he didn't think that was the issue...

    Rear main seal keeps leaking

Several months back I replaced my motor mounts with Brown Dog mounts. A few weeks after I started having a rear main seal leak. I took it to the local mechanic and he did the replacement. Well, it started leaking again immediately. Took it back and he replaced it again. That lasted about a day...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Yes they are. Two of the holes were busted off on mine and there were multiple factory holes on the engine block for me to connect to. It's much more apparent when you get the old mount off.

What did you do to your TJ today?

The bracket is designed for the holes to line up with existing holes/mounts in the engine. If everything lines up properly it should be pretty easy, mine just didn't want to line up nicely so it was a little more work.

What did you do to your TJ today?

That looks great, and the best color of Jeep! I need to get some fog lights one of these days.

What did you do to your TJ today?

I'll be honest, it was a bit of a pain in the butt. I was able to get the old ones out pretty easily but even though I had everything jacked up the whole time I had a difficult time getting everything to line up. I was under there with ratchet straps and jacks to get the motor where I needed it...

What did you do to your TJ today?

I haven't been able to do much on the Jeep lately but I was out busting through snow drifts yesterday. I absolutely love driving this thing out in the snow.

    Should I sell my Viper?

Keep it! I may be biased though because that is my absolute dream car. I'm drooling over here...

What did you do to your TJ today?

I'm starting to get annoyed with the issues that are popping up. A couple weeks ago I got my Jeep back from having the rear main seal replaced. I didn't have a chance to drive it until yesterday and after about 15 miles the check engine light came on. I did the key trick and came up with code...

What did you do to your TJ today?

I replaced the gasket on the front differential with a Lube Locker today. It don't see any leaks so in calling it a success! I'll have to tackle the rear at some point but I should be able to get Green back on the road now.

Opinions on this 2006 65th anniversary?

That's fair. I'm still learning all of those aftermarket options. I had just noticed it looked different from mine.

Opinions on this 2006 65th anniversary?

That's the best looking Wrangler out there, go for it! I may be slightly biased though... That center console looks all chopped up and I'm curious what shape the seats are in but it doesn't look like a bad ride and would give you some projects to have fun with.

What did you do to your TJ today?

It's been awhile since I've been in here but the green machine is finally back from the shop after getting the rear main seal and transmission seal replaced. This weekend I should be able to replace the seal on the front differential and hopefully my floor will stay leak free!
