My calculator says that's %150K per car. What kind of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep were they?

What did you do to your other vehicle today?

I understood that. I was just derailing the thread with an attempt at a tire discussion

What did you do to your other vehicle today?

I've owned two different Volkswagon Jettas. The first was a 2000 model year, and 16" tires(IIRC). It went great on snow covered roads. I replaced it with a 2008 model year and 17" wheels. That went like crap on snow covered roads. Both had similar M&S rated tires. When talking to other...

    Tax Season

I'm in total agreement, but your taxes could be a lot worse. I have a friend that owns a house in Jersey City. His property taxes on a "fixer upper" are $20K/year. I stopped complaining after I heard that.

    RIP, Roxy

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and...

    Bulb grease?

This is exactly what happens. Too much, like many things, isn't good. In my previous life, I was involved with the design and manufacture of electrical connectors, and we did a lot of testing.

Whippets? (not the dog or the car)

My mom gave me a bunch of those whippet cannisters back in the 70's. She cleaned out her "baking" stuff and thought I could use them in my CO2 pellet guns. I haven't heard of their usage for a long time, but they seem to be popular again.

    New Vibration Driving Me Nuts

I have a new vibration from my front axle/driveshaft that driving me nuts. I installed a 3" lift kit in my LJ about 5 years ago. Everything was great until I regeared the axles. I resolved the problem with a SYE, Adams double cardan rear driveshaft, and some adjustable upper rear control...

    Question About Pinion Seal Replacement

I have a leaking front pinion seal, and plan to replace it. In addition to the new seal, should I plan to install a new crush sleeve? I added a 3" lift to my 2005 LJ, and it drove fine. After regearing, I had a vibration problem. I installed a SYE and new rear driveshaft and the problem was...

    I-6 coming back to Jeep!

I worked with many people that believed the results spit out by computer programs (CAD/FEA), and never did a "sanity" check. Just because the computer gives you good results, doesn't mean it's practical. I'm sure we've all experienced a certain vehicle where doing simple maintenance, like...

The game clock doesn't run during 1 or 2 point conversion. The 30 second play clock is running, but not the game clock.

Read the fine print. Says it won't fit a TJ with full doors.

williambmac, do you have an opinion on EGR,DPF, DEF delete kits for Ford's 6.7 diesel? On paper, it seems deleted vehicles should have fewer problems.

Tips on ordering a new F350

I mis-spoke. It's the DEF heater/level sensors, that are integrated, that frequently fail. This one is not Ford/Bosch, but it gives you and idea of what I'm referring to. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DRPNCB4/?tag=wranglerorg-20 It resides in the DEF tank.
