banks exhaust

Has anyone cut out the resonator in their 4.0? Im thinking to leave the two cats, cut out the resonator and weld in a pipe. This paired with the banks monster exhaust i think could add a little more crackle into the sound of the exhaust. Please let me know if there is any problems with doing...
