oil consumption

Manual 5 speed 4.0 burns oil terribly at high speeds. At 65+ mph burns 2-3 quarts in 300 miles. With a trailer, it burns that much at 60+ mph. Slow down to 60 without trailer or 55 with trailer and it hardly burns anything. Obviously one remedy is to go slower than 55mph, which is fine for daily...
