I’ve had my 02 for about a year and a half. Over that time, I’ve shredded 3 pinions. I don’t know why this keeps happening, and it’s getting too expensive to replace my pinion every 6 months. Does anyone have any input? I’m not sure what to do.

So I’m changing the pinion seal and a few other things today.. I noticed something that worries me when opening the seal up. The package says Dana 30 but the set is manual says it’s the right part number for a Dana 44. Also they look a little different so that’s another cause for alarm.
