    Spacer for crankshaft position sensor

On the Rockauto website there is a part number for the crankshaft position sensor spacer but when I look in the parts manual for a 98 Wrangler I don't see one. Some website say the 98 doesn't need the spacer some do. Anyone with a 97/98 Wrangler change the sensor and did you use a spacer? Thanks

Help! Possible cam or crank sensor issues?

Hello, so I have been having some issues with my jeep. It usually waits till it’s heated up. It will hesitate and jerk kinda bad, and oddly enough seems like it really does it when I got over bumps in the road. The RMPs don’t drop but the speed does? But I’m not slowing down that much. Like it...

Jeep Wrangler TJ Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

There are several reason why you would need to replace your Jeep TJ Wrangler's Crankshaft Position Sensor (or CPS for short) with the most obvious one being that your 'check engine' light has illuminated and a quick check with an OBDII reader indicates you have thrown one of the following MIL...

    Leaky Oil or Coolant?

Edit for anyone who has this problem in the future: I went out to my Jeep, turned it on, put my arm through the window and turned the steering back and forth enough to stress the system just a bit, until I could tell the RPM's kicked up. Sure enough, a little drop of fluid came out around the...

Has anyone used Seafoam spray in their Jeep? I know it says that you should never spray it in front of the MAS but since that is on the throttle body I'm curious if there is a way around that? Any thoughts? Thanks.
