Anyone have any experience with the front sway bar kit from thoroughbred diesel? -“Hellwig front sway bar kit 1997-2006 jeep wrangler TJ w/ 3-5” lift”

So pretty much im going to do some more hardcore 4wd in my tj right, and the guy at the tyre shop says i shouldnt disconnect my swaybar, but i think he means itll be disconnected at all times, he also says itll break my car if i have it undone. So can i undo the bolts on it and tie the bar away...
