I nixed the inter-cooler and got a larger one that will go in front of my radiator ( some modifications required) I also got rid of the clutch and fan to make more room for the inter-cooler and went with an electric fan

Right good question, I bought a custom tune package from FRP . I want to go with a bit larger injectors and a 2 bar Map just waiting for his recommendations. Also planning on adding ARP head bolts and torquing the heads but no head gasket ...

Got this mocked up. It was very tight between the headlamps (Had to remove a bit of material) which I want because It cannot move or the movement Over time will wear a hole. So I am taking my time and securing everything with rubber.

Couple options. If I can’t get it passed in Ca. Then I have friends in other states that won’t mind me moving in (read between the lines) and registering it in Nevada, Arizona or Oregon. Failing that I’ll Trailor it and make it a full blown OHV toy.

Call Banks and just ask them to send you one. That may not be as far fetched as it sounds. When I installed the Banks system the intercooler had not yet been CARB approved. When it was approved a couple of years later I called Banks and asked them to send me the EA sticker. They never even asked me for an invoice number, sales receipt or anything. They just sent the sticker. So give it a try. You need separate stickers for the turbo and for the intercooler. It remains to be seen whether it will be noticed by the smog tester that it isn’t really a Banks system.

More progress, got the old intake and exhaust manifold off and the header and replacement intake manifold on. (Because of the header I had to buy an older year intake) I have to get bungs welded for upstream O2 sensors. Transferred the TB .

Got the bungs welded up on the s pipe and the oil pan and got all that back on today. And the exhaust right up the the turbo flange
. I couldn’t visualize how it was going to workout but it has the bends in all the right places. Have to give this kit props!
