Hey there....so do you make these yourself? I noticed the wrap around panels as well. The PO (OG owner) backed into something pushing the spare in, pushing the tailgate in, making it so the rear softop window leaked water into the gate. So not only is it mashed, it's rusted everywhere as well. I already got a new gate, and new hinges. But would love to slap one of these on there for coverage. How do you recommend stopping rust underneath this panel? And I was gonna make my own but it seems you have it covered...

No, this is a plate to clean up the tailgate when the spare is removed, doesn’t provide much structure.
