Free to good home. 03-06 OEM factory original steering gear from my 05 LJ with 63,000 miles. Perfectly serviceable when I pulled it a couple weeks ago to install PSC ram assist (no leaks and minimal play). It is being "sold" with no warranty and no returns. The factory pump and reservoir is also available for purchase at the same price! "Buy" both I'll throw in a M.O.R.E steering brace for free! Prefer local pickup because I'm lazy. If you want to see what it looks like, look under your 2003-06 TJ or LJ (minus the leak).

I looked into shipping and doesn't make sense to ship everything, especially to 89002. And that's if I had a suitable size box, which I don't. On the other hand, I do have a box that will fit just the steering gear and should qualify for $21.85 flat rate shipping to either zip.

Ok, I think I'll take it.
I don't really need the pump and reservoir, only the steering box. Does it have the arm on it.?
I could also use the steering brace as well. Mine has 170,000 miles on it.

It does not include the pitman arm. The biggest issue with shipping was the brace because its 24" long. UPS rates go up faster based on size more than weight. A 24x10x8 box of the same weight to 89002 is about $84. Probably another $10 at least for the box (If I could find one).

Thanks to all and yes it's me Blaine, how have you been? I just couldn't bring myself to toss out a perfectly good steering box with so many griping about poor quality or expensive aftermarket ones available. The other Forum is pretty dead now so I didn't bother posting it there.
