i'd consider coping the rocker guard, and keep the flare intact if it's gonna be a permanent part.
Still not sure this is a permanent mod. More coming soon on the install.i'd consider coping the rocker guard, and keep the flare intact if it's gonna be a permanent part.
They look great. If you want to wire in some led turn signals I used the ones in the link below on my trailer and they've held up great so far.Installed the MCE’s on the passenger side today. Started with the rear since I had the most concerns there. Fronts were easy. I was actually pleasantly surprised.

It looks great! No additional gains in the rear, of course.
In the front the up to the seam on the stock fender was 8 3/4 and now the up to the MCE fender is 10 1/8”. No gains at the rear fender, of course. I wasn’t having a problem rubbing my 33’s in the rear, but I had got into the seams, so that problem is solved, as well as the bent up stock fender. Overall, pleasantly surprised with the appearance. Jury still out.
I’ve got some very similar side marker/turn signals coming Tuesday, 3/4”. Not sure where I want to install them yet. I saw where @jjvw installed his, in the lowest of the three stock support bracket holes. He also added the JK signals under the headlight. I ordered a 3 wire that can serve as both a side marker and turn signal. Another option is the bumper. Any suggestions appreciated. They look great. I feel the same about the grill. It’s quintessential Jeep TJ. Hard to cut. If it does look best I’d be willing. My question is can the side marker be on the front? Or does it have to be on the side?Jk style would likely look the best but I'd have a hard time cutting into the grill. I'd just do something like this...View attachment 213795
Oh, I’m so stock in my tastes. I’d have to undergo conditioning to move that far. Good suggestion though. Something I will consider more. What about a headlight with built in turn signals? Halos, angel eyes or whatever your taste is
That's a great solution. I may need to copy that.I'm partial to in the grill for the CJ look, the side marker just have to be visible from the side. View attachment 213799View attachment 213800
Looks great. I bet some JB plastic bond would hold the wires in place/out of the way.
I've seen them done that way @ImpactOrange has his like that. If you do it bed your wires in RTV under the fender.or what Alex suggested above^^^
Hmm...good idea, never seen that! Not bad at all. Creative.
