Well, it happened to me yesterday. Stop at Home Depot to pick-up a couple of items. Got in my 05 LJ turned the key and nothing. A little history last month I started getting codes for all (4) of the O2 Sensors at the same time. After talking with Wrangler Fix we got a new PCM. All was going great for about (2) weeks and then a CEL. This time it only showing only (1) code P0431. So, I cleared this code and after driving around (50) miles or so the CEL came on again same code P0431. This code is for bank 2 can be caused by Catalytic Converter, a leak in the exhaust system or O2 Sensor. So, I do not know if this no start is related or not. The horn, radio, dash lights all working. The battery cables are clean and tight. I am reading 12.4 volts at the battery. I have switched the starter and horn relays still not crank. So, I moved onto the Ignition Switch Actuator Pin and the Ignition Starter Switch. No damage to the Ignition Switch Actuator Pin. I have picked up new Ignition Switch Pin and Ignition Starter Switch from NAPA. After installing them and reconnecting the battery. When I opened the driver door I’m hearing the chime as if the key is in the ignition. The jeep still will not turn over.

I did call them today and was told to call back on Monday to talk to the head tech. To see if anything else to check before sending the PCM back.
12.4 is slightly low, have you tried jumping it with another vehicle just to eliminate the battery as the problem? I doubt it's the problem though.
Check the grounds on the passenger side of the block.
Have you tried starting it in N instead of P? Sometimes the N safety switch fails. Might also try wiggling the shifter while in P and trying to start.

We did try to jump it with our F150. The block ground was cleaned when it started with if of the coded for all (4) O2 sensors. I will try starting with the shifter in N.
There's also a small wire on the starter that can come loose if anyone has been over near it.
The P0431 and 0421codes on my 06 has been due to the mini cats to exh manifold bolts loosening up several times. Crawl under and look straight up and you can see the 4 bolts.

I will check the wires on the starter tomorrow and the bolts on the exhaust. I have not heard any exhaust leaks. I have been looking for new Cat's but do not want to spend big bucks.
I never heard a leak either, but whenever I get those codes, I crawl under there and the bolts are loose.
Starter Fuse #6 tested good, Starter Relay #32 tested good, Battery showing 12.4 volts. The ground wire at engine block cleaned clean and tight.
Check for voltage on the little starter wire when the ignition switch is in crank position.
If you get voltage and no crank the starter is bad. Try smacking it while cranking.
If you don't get voltage while cranking on the small post jumper the small to big while I'm switch is in the run position.

The 05 LJ is Alive and Well. I got the grandson over today. We pulled the starter out to bench test. Nothing, so we went to parts store for a replacement. Installed it reconnected the battery turn the key and the 4.0 is purring away. We did check the exhaust bolts and (1) may have moved a little. So, we are happy that we found the problem with the no crank/start. I want to thank everyone for on here for the help.
