05 LJR picked up cheaply

Back from last deployment, first thing I did was take off my hardtop and put on my half doors.

Drove 800 miles the other week around Baxter State park, the old ljr did great

Very nice!!! But Metalcloak and Patagonia's? Might catch some grief around here for that... ;)
I've never seen another LJ here in New England with that combo. Just a bunch of JKs and rusted out TJs with halo headlights, lightbars and angry face grills. Is that common in AZ?

We have a decent Metalcloak following here, but I was more referring to this site. They can't stand Metalcloak and can't stand Patagonia's... Just internet BS.

Last week I dropped it off at a NH jeep shop to get all the parts accumulating in my basement installed finally! These guys are super professional and found all sorts of issues they have fixed. Pick it up today. Heres the list of work.

Tummy tuck, UCF high clearance skid plate, lopro tranny mount, More motor mount lift, savvy cable shifter for transfer case, 8 metalcloak double adjustable control arms, Crown extended brake lines, metalcloak front and rear adjustable track bars, 1 ton HD crossover steering conversion, Rock Krawler 3.5" springs, fixed the air lockers, full alignment, cut off the secondary cat and straight piped to the muffler with a turn down tip, etc

Very cool.

By the way - is the Kittery Trading Post still around? I used to go there when I was younger (much younger…), and I recall it being a pretty cool place for outdoor equipment.

Still a great place with everything you need without the cheap china feel of bass pro! Although the past year theres a line of people waiting at 9am to buy up all the ammo.

Haven't much else with it since getting my latest jeep. The LJR is looking and performing exactly how I envisioned it when I got it. I believe 35s, tummy tuck and 3" springs are a perfect combo for weekend warrior. Next will be installing a 4.6 stroker when the factory motor dies which could be several years.

I can't express how happy I am with the metalcloak adjustable control arms and the UCF high clearance skid plate. This old thing is so much fun in the woods.
