Rock rails and bumper need painted. I got to test fit the rockers first cause I’m thinking they will need some trimming.

Finally got to take off the po’s attempt at diy rockers. Drivers side has a mystery underneath. I thought it was rust but looks like an awful mess of body filler. I took a screwdriver to it and it has no rust visible.
I’ll be sanding and painting that mess before installing the Motobilt rockers.

I hit the bubbling area with a flap disc. It was just body filler from what looks like a bad job fixing a small rocker dent maybe from some trail damage.
I took out the bad stuff and primed it with self etching primer.
I’ll hit it with some color matching flame red spray paint.

I posted the hardtop up for sale on Facebook. I got 7 people interested in it already. We will see.
