Riiiight...

I live on a postage stamp lot, and have ten cars to contend with, plus a canned-ham trailer. Add in the 23 or so bicycles, and my dance card is pretty much full. Hell, I won't even have time for a girlfriend, or so my wife tells me...:ROFLMAO:

This one showed up a few days ago and I just Iove it. I can hardly keep from going to buy it.

That's a heck of a deal! 4x4 too! Those tail lights alone would go for a couple hundred bucks. They are unique to MJs.

I have a 1988 Comanche and bought a second one about 5 yrs. ago for that same amount. It was advertised as a parts car but it was far from that. I drove about an hour and a half to see it. It was out beside the seller's barn and when I saw it from about 200' away I immediately decided to buy it (although I didn't tell him). It had the very hard to find sports bar which guys are paying $5-800 for when they become available. I got a lot of other good parts off it including a NOS soft tonneau which is even more rare than the sports bar. I replaced them with very usable parts (seats, radio, wheels, etc.) and sold the MJ for what I paid for it. My ad was posted for 45 minutes and the guy arrived right on time the next day to take it away. He was happy as hell!

Well, it looks like someone picked up the Comanche, and is flipping it. It's the very same vehicle (look at the mirrors, and the stickers in the canopy's hatch).
Looks like it's in pretty damn nice shape, especially for the original $900 this guy paid for it.

I am doing that right now with a couple sets of knives i just bought on Amazon...courtesy of another buy enabling forum I am on, smokingmeatforums..lol I actually think i have spent more on cooking/smokers from there than I have spent on the TJ! The reason I get away with it (some of the time) is that I am cooking for her as well so she does not have too.

My wife ended up with a $700 set of cookware. It wasn't that she needed it, necessarily. It was more because I had bought myself another derelict car, and she hadn't been home yet to see it parked out front. ;)
