For sale is my Flame Red 1997 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) Sport, 5-speed, 4.0L 6 cylinder, A/C, and 4-wheel ABS brakes with only 66,485 miles on the odometer. We are selling because we don't use it as much since the kids have grown and moved out. It's a great Jeep and has been very reliable and well maintained since we ordered and purchased it new in February 1997. Come with a new in 2019 Bestop NX Supertop. The interior is in excellent condition and has new Bartact seat covers and Bedrug carpeting throughout. Body and frame are all original with no accidents or issues. It is rust free with the exception of minor surface rust on the tailgate hinges and surface rust in the typical frame locations. The frame is solid! It is used and as a result does have a few very minor chips and a few fine scratches on the exterior paint. A number of years ago, when I installed the mirror movers, one of the Torx bolt heads in the passenger side window frame hinge broke off and I've never come up with a satisfactory way to have it removed without damaging the painted surface.
A few months after buying this Jeep I had the interior tub Rhino Lined, installed a Tuffy under-seat security drawer and had cruise control installed. A few years later, I installed an OME 2.5" lift along with American Racing wheels.
Overall, this Jeep Wrangler is in close to excellent condition with no issues (9/10). The pictures give an accurate representation of what you will see in person. I also have the original window sticker. I've included more detailed information below as to what all is included.
