We're passing our Green Monster along to the next Jeep enthusiast as our mountaineering obsession is surpassing our 4x4 passion. Plus we no longer have a garage to properly work on the Jeep or park with the top down all summer.

Make me an offer or trade for a 4runner! I posted on Craigslist for $11,500, but no hits so planning to drop the asking price to $10,500.

Upgrades:
  • 4” lift
  • 35” BFW tires
  • Avenger Supercharger & K&N air filter
  • Front and rear hydraulic lockers
  • 9,000 lb. WARN winch
  • Full sized spare
  • Frame-mounted rear bumper w/ hitch receiver & tire rack
  • Upgraded LED headlights
  • Custom front bumper & fog lights
  • Sway bar disconnects
Odometer: 215,400

Recent Maintenance (in the last 15,000 miles):

  • New gold-level battery & alternator
  • Replaced starter motor
  • New stubby antenna
  • Replaced accelerator cable & housing
  • Cleaned and lubricated throttle body
  • New windshield
  • Replaced upper coolant hose
  • Repaired CV U-joint
  • Replaced fuel tank skid plate
  • Drained transmission fluid and replaced
  • Replaced spark plugs and ignition wires
  • Inspected differential fluids
  • Cooling system & heater core flush
  • Replaced fan clutch & T-stat
  • Tuned steering gear box
  • Installed Dynomax muffler & tailpipe
  • Suspension work- replaced rear lower control arm bushing, ball joints, wheel bearings, axle u-joints, inner axle seals, track bar, stab
  • Full suspension & wheel alignment

the ad:

Bulletproof rock crawler setup for serious Jeeping where only real Jeeps can go. With the ground clearance, short-wheel base, and inline 6-cylinder supercharged engine, we usually go first in our caravan on technical obstacles. Fresh oil every 3,000 mi. Most of the mods were done by my father-in-law with help from High Country 4x4 and Front Range Driveline. Hail damage to hood never bothered me but likely ~$1,000 to replace. Hard top installed now. Soft top and doors included (soft top hardware is in good condition, fabric needs replaced).

It’s an epic vehicle and will be very sad to see it go, but we don’t have a garage, can’t afford another vehicle, and don’t want to use it as a commuter although it passes emissions and drives on the road. Winch, remote, snatch block, sand bags, and high-lift jack all included. Please reach out if you’d like to check it out!
