This is an extremely fun and capable jeep built with high quality parts and reliability in mind!

I have owned this vehicle almost a year - and before me it was a Colorado/Wyoming vehicle with no road salt damage in all of it's 200,000 miles! The 2000 is a great year to get - you have all the benefits and reliability of modern ignition and fuel injection but none of the vehicle stability control features that tend to hamper the fun off road.

This jeep comes with the venerable 4.0 inline 6 cylinder - and shows no signs of stopping! Great power and passed emission with flying colors this year. This is a 5 speed manual Jeep - the previous owner changed the clutch in the last 20,000 miles and it performs like a new clutch should! The jeep will come with the pictured hard top - which is in great condition and a blessing to have in inclement weather or on long trips!

As built - this Jeep can handle many of the famous Moab trails (and has done a few of them!) and can take on many of the great Colorado mountain trails (Chinaman Gulch in Buena Vista pictured in a few). I am not about beating up vehicles unnecessary - and with this Jeep I never had to push it too hard - it impressed me with it’s off road prowess and ease of navigating many trails better than my JK Unlimited Rubicon did!

Some of the upgraded features include:

•3” suspension lift using metalcloak parts all around
•Brand new Rancho RS5000x struts on every corner
•1” body lift (for future clearance for 33” to 34” tires if you choose to do so)
•1” motor mount lift (helps better align the drive train for the suspension lift)
•17” aluminum rims with 32” BFG Mud Terrain T/A tires (plenty of meat left!)
•Quick release metalcloak front sway bar end links (handy offroad!)
•Smittybilt X2O 10,000 pound winch with synthetic line and TRE 2.0 thimble
•Reinforced front axle with skids, diff guards, new bushings, heavy duty steering stabilizer and fresh oil!
•Reinforced rear axle with a diff guard, 1451H axle shafts, new bearings, new brake drums and pads and fresh oil!
•Oil pan skid plate (M.O.R.E) and steering box skid plate
•Custom fit rock rails with rock slider tube on side - these were mounted so that they transfer most of the force to the frame rail while still protecting the tub
•Crown automotive heaving duty steering kit (drag link and tie rod - oversized ball joints)
•LED lighting all around (custom fit tail lights and headlights - to maintain the OEM look but provide an upgrade in lighting!)
•All fluids changed recently - engine oil, manual trans oil and transfer case oil all within 3000 miles!
•Bull horns (optional, but they sure do look cool!)

As you can see - a lot of the work has been done already to make this a turn-key off road machine. I have had fun through the last year with this vehicle but as a new year comes - I’m looking for my next project and want to pass this vehicle on to it’s next mountain loving owner!

Some things to note about the vehicle:

•While the driveline is nearly perfect - there is a slight vibration noticeable between 35 and 40 mph when accelerating. I've upgraded the u-joints the the X type spicer units and otherwise just dealt with this as 'A Jeep Thing' - it is very smooth above and below this speed range!
•The pinion on the rear driveshaft will occasionally weep when parked at downward angles - for those that are even slightly mechanically handy this is a very quick fix. I've checked the diff fluid regularly for height and volume and the amount it will lose in a year is almost negligible - but you will notice the weep if you park it on a clean street.
•The hood does feature some paint peeling. It's not terrible right now - but it is something you will want to repaint in a year or two if trying to restore it to OEM condition.
