There’s a gap between my hardtop rear glass and tailgate. I don’t know if the hard top is Mopar or not. Is there any option to close this gap without installing a tailgate bar, or would this be the best thing? Once installed, is it easy to remove and reinstall without tools? My dog goes in and out the back.

Seems like there should be a gasket either for the glass or gate to create a seal. From the holes in the rear of the Jeep (pictured) I’m assuming there was a bar installed with a soft top sometime in the past.

If you can’t find one you can get a bulb shaped gasket on Amazon that solves the problem nicely.

A Mopar liftgate lower seal will not fit that aftermarket top and rear gate. You will have to fab something from bulb seal trim to go on your lower edge.
