My 41,500 mile TJ has been running great. No codes. Suddenly it takes maybe 8-10 seconds of cranking before it finally starts. Seems to run ok then, but possibly idling a bit slower. Still no codes though.

Camshaft position sensor? Crankshaft position sensor? Best source of purchase? Dealer or auto parts store? Preferred brands or ones to avoid?

Or could it possibly be the fuel pump?

Many thanks!

You need someone to test the fuel pressure- At a glance it sounds like a fuel pump- But don’t throw parts at it.

Some other guys have a lot of experience with those on here and hopefully they will jump in.

Thanks, are there any concerns driving it now....as in may stall out and not continue to run?

Seems to be running ok, once it does start up.

Try the regular fuel pump test by turning the key from off to the run position a few times without starting then do a normal start. This will re-pressurize the fuel system to confirm if your fuel pump or fuel regulator is failing.

Thanks, I pretty much did that yesterday, and seems to start better, pretty much normal, after doing that.

The fuel pump and regulator are an integral part I guess?
