Looking at documenting and also getting some assistance as needed on my 03 TJ Sahara w/ mostly stock, as the 3rd owner of 10+ yrs.
I’ll update this as I Build. Hopefully I can go back and edit this thread as the OP.
1-2019_Last weekend worked w/ a buddy to swap out ball joints, track bar, front diff plate & install winch (which has been sitting in garage for 4+ yrs).
Everything went well in the end even after a few delays, which tend to always happen...except for somehow the RE track bar that was ordered was for a non stock TJ with a lift of 3.5”-4.5”. I was wanting a adjustable that I could use in my lift going forward with being able to use it currently at it’s stock height. Being that the holes for the OEM trackbar had to be enlarged for the RE Trackbar, it’s currently got the OEM Trackbar on it w/ enlarged holes.
Currently this is my setup as of January 2019. Anyone have any suggestions of what options I have at this point? I was looking to hold off till spending more time/money till a bit later on lifting it. If anything, even though it may not be as pleasing to the eyes, I’ll have to hold off changing out the wheels/tires for now, even if I wind up lifting it.
