Hello,
I just replaced the gasket/weatherstrip on the bottom of the hardtop glass lift gate. Is there a short weatherstrip that blocks the corner? I can still see a gap where water can get in. See pictures for details.

Cheers
John

IIRC, that flap should cover more than yours does. I had to cut a small spot out to run my cb coax right there.
However, I don't think that's where they normally leak; unless you spray it with a hose.

Does it have the thickened out of square "Trapezoid" piece at the end of the seal flap and on the end of the hardtop seal rubber, on my hardtop these thickened end pieces seal the gap.

Hello,

Thank you, these are the pictures I needed. My trapezoid end does not protrude as far over to the black bracket on tailgate. See pictures comparing mine to yours.

I’m guessing that either the gasket was replaced with the wrong one or a piece fell off. The surf on the trapezoid piece doesn’t show signs of tearing etc. It seems like smooth surface. I’m going to order a new gasket and replace.

Thanks again for pictures. Here is gasket I’m going to order.

What a great idea Yanmar007! I love the white dome to keep the window secure! Im not fan of how it relies on the third brake light mount to keep it from fully opening. What adhesive did you use on the trim for the bottom of the glass?
