Please give me some advice on rock sliders for my Jeep. I am short and need a step to get into the Jeep. I would like to add rock sliders with a step. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a step at tub height? Most sliders have that built in or as an option. The Savvy ones are popular around here.

If you're looking for a step below the body line, there are independent steps you can get that mount to the frame. I believe they were even a factory option. They will impact ground clearance, and can easily be damaged by stumps or rocks though.

No, at the body line

I run the Rock Hard 4x4 tube sliders, and would probably buy the Savvy if I were to do it over again. Some other brands worth looking at are Poison Spyder, UCF, and Genright. Each has their benefits and drawbacks.

The Rock Hard ones stick out a good distance and are easy to step on to access the roof rack or crawl in the back, but don't anchor as well as some of the others. The Savvy ones are probably one of the best in terms of protection.
