Inquired about it and rust. What do y’all think of the frame rust and cost?

Ya I was thinking the same when he sent me those. Wanted to get thoughts from those peeps with rust experience.
 
It’s a bit too far to show up with a screw driver and camera to see and poke around inside the frame.
 
No way. That little bit you can see has layers and layers behind it. Just from the pictures I can see if you removed the transmission skid there is serious rot in the frame rails.
 
Rust never looks good.... but it doesn't seem to be walk-away bad on this jeep. I have seen similar conditions up close on other jeeps.

Just saying it is worth an in-person inspection.

I can def see both sides of y’all’s point. What looks worrisome is the frame underneath the TC skid. It looks to be a gap like it’s rotted away a bit.

Maybe it’s the angle of the pic
 
I wouldn’t touch that thing with a 10 foot pole!
 
Lol, nope. I’m sure he had a lot of inquiries about it. He just posted it last night. That was too much rust that I was willing to deal with. Fixing surface rust even grinds my gears.
