2005 LJ with 5.7 Hemi and 24k miles

What is on the inside of the hood, looks like it could have been on fire but the top does not look like it. Maybe just dirt, low miles to look that funky to me. Rest looks good
05 and 06 unlimited models came with hood insulation. That might have carried over to regular models as well but I know for sure that LJs received it.
 
My 2004 Hood is lined. The smog guy was looking for some stupid sticker...

So is the suspension 100% stock? Can you fit 35" tires on that?

Fugly bumpers, but other than that I like it. I'm not sure I would want to deal with any potential engine swap issues. I'd be more comfortable with a 4.6 Stoker. But I have VERY limited knowledge in that dept.
 
I'd have to question his description of the transmission. It should be at a minimum a 5 speed and if it's a newer Hemi I don't know how many gears it has.

That’s probably what he meant. I don’t think there’s any automatic transmission you could make work with the modern hemis. It would have to be a 545RFE
