2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ Rubicon
"Rubihara" Sahara Special Edition (#523/1000)
6 Speed Manual Transmission
120,2XX miles (will continue to be daily driven until sale)
Located in Indianapolis, IN 46205
$21,500 OBO

Looking for the next caretaker of my Jeep Wrangler LJR. I'm the 4th owner, purchased in 2021 and have used it as my daily driver for the last 4 years adding nearly 30,000 miles to the odometer during that time. Solid frame, expected amount of minor nicks/rash on body, surface rust on passenger front fender. Runs strong, no problems cruising at 80mph on the interstate. Only selling because I need something slightly larger for our growing family.

During my ownership it has always been garaged, never off roaded and rarely driven during the winter to minimize salt exposure. Heat & A/C work as they should. No check engine lights/codes. Oil changed every 5000 miles. Absolutely love this thing - only selling because our family needs a different vehicle.

I documented some of the work/upgrades I made along the way in my LJ Rubicon Refresh thread. The list of work done in the first post is up to date, but haven't gotten around to providing photos of each project.

They have been in storage inside on a tirerack mounted high up on my garage wall since I took them off and put the Pro Comps on. Haven't pulled them down to take pics of them, but here is what they looked like on the rig when I bought it. They are the two tone version that was specific to the Sahara package in 05.

@Starrs - I'll let you know when I sell the Jeep so you can plan to snag the custom plate number here in Indiana. :)

I don’t mean this in a mean way but…why did you change this look? Man that looked great.

No offense taken! I've always liked the basic black steel wheel look so decided to go with that knowing that I also wasn't going to sell off the OEM wheels since they were part of the Sahara package. All easily swapped back out if the next owner wants to go that way. The other big change was hoisting the hardtop up to the garage ceiling and investing in a soft top so I could open it up more in the warmer weather months.
