Hello, everyone. This is my first Jeep and I guess I'm just feeling the blues. I have replaced so many things on this thing that is starting to make me regret buying it. Good news though, most every part will be new soon. LOL

The front right brake pads are making noise only when i slow down and push normal braking pressure on the peddle is when it makes noise.

My Jeep has: new brake pads, new rotors, new front spindles, new front wheel bearings that bolt to spindles, new shocks, new suspension arms on front and rear, new front bushings, new calipers and new brake lines.

I have the brake clips on all the right front pads and that’s the side making noise. I don’t have the brake pad clips on the left front side (which doesn’t make noise). I took the brake pad clips off the right-side brake pads and it still makes the same noise.

I jacked the front end up and both front wheels spin freely with no noise.

There's no air in the lines…I bled them several times. The calipers are not sticking.

The noise only happens when I brake when slowing down around 20mph to stop is when it makes the noise like the pads are shifting. I put never-seize on all the pad areas that are logical.

I’m completely lost. I think I have had the wheel off about 12 times trying to figure this out.

The noise is driving me Batty. Your wisdoms will be greatly appreciated and If I can’t fix this then someone, please buy it. UGH LOL

I recorded a video and can't upload here for some reason. So you could hear it. Its only 10 seconds long. Why is everything so difficult. Lol ahhhh

Have you tried different pads?

I had the same issue recently and a different brand of pads (Centric) immediately eliminated the squeaking.

Your time is worth more than the $100 of trying different pads given everything else you’ve attempted.

I put new pads on and the noise is still there. It actually seems a little louder. I wonder if the rotor is bent, but it's new so I'm confused.

For videos, please upload them to YouTube and then copy and paste the link here and it will automatically embed.

What do the knuckles look like? Do they have “divots” where the pads slide or are they completely smooth. The fronts do not have abutment clips and prone to making noise when breaking if significant divots exist on the knuckles.

Did you put brake grease at the clips and a small amount on the back side at the piston?

Yes, on all places. I think the pad that's up against the piston is rocking back and forth. The top of the pad where it only has one metal tip. I think the tip is hitting the spindle. The bottom of the pads have two metal nipples so they can only slide on the spindle part. The top of the pads only have one metal nipple so they can slide with the surface of the caliper. Ill have to put a retaining clip on the top to keep them fr moving so much and hitting the spindle and or caliper.
