Beautiful, extremely low mile 2006 Wrangler LJ. 99% stock except for head unit with backup camera, bluetooth, Sirius, etc. and aftermarket power windows. No issues, no stories, no warning lights, period. Just inspected recently and has a brand new Bestop soft top. I am having 5 new wheels and tires put on it this week. Overall, near mint condition. Nearly impossible to find them in this condition with 49K. If you're looking at this, you know.

I believe the LJs had a plate welded from the factory to the top section of the frame on the drivers side for strength. My LJR has one as well.

Either way that's all been painted up under there and it's still rusting through again.

And mine. It just looks like a factory piece, half hiding under a rubber flap. I never paid it any attention until now.

Maybe it's not OEM, maybe all of our Jeeps have been sent from all over the country to the same guy for a frame repair. Conspiracy theory of the day.
