@Sharp Minded this is key. If you’re doing a good bit of off roading, or think you will at some point get the 15” over the 16”. For road use difference in C vs E ride quality is very minimal. You’ll get a better change in ride quality with good shocks than tires.
I’m currently running E rated tires. Off road I air down to 8psi. My old C rated tires at 8 psi had a lot better performance. The tires carcass was a lot more pliable around rocks, creating a larger foot print and providing more traction. I’m sure I could air down the E rated tires to 5psi and still get better grip at 8psi with the C rated tires.
C vs E should really be more of a grip/performance debate than a ride quality debate (my personal opinion).
