2006 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 6-speed manual trans 170,000mi and climbing on sunny dry days. Build thread: HERE Hard top (OEM) and soft top (Rugged Ridge, black w/ tinted windows used once). Thinning the fleet motivates the listing. Green, lien-free Michigan title in my name, though it had a Kentucky salvage title when I bought it. Not a trailer queen- it gets driven "up north" ~180 miles one-way with cruise control set ~75mph.

Rock solid frame and body, though the body does have imperfections which can be seen in the pic below (fender near marker light, tub near Jeep stamp, windshield frame). I'll eventually get around to posting pics of the frame, body mounts, etc.

Aftermarket: Yukon 4.88s, ARBs front and rear. ARB twin compressor. Savvy Under Armor, MORE 1" motor mount lift, Savvy body lift, Novak cable shift, Metalcloak 3.5" short-arm lift w/ ARB shocks. BMB/Vanco Super 16 w/ tierod flip. Durango master cylinder. BMB raised sway bar link mounts, BMB rear disc pads, BMB Wizard brake brackets. Currie Currectlync, (5) 315/75R16 BFG KO2, 1" Spidertrax wheel spacers, LOD Signature series rear bumper w/ reverse lights, Warn Zeon 8-S, non-heated Trucklite LED headlights, Trucklite LED driving lights. SPOD controller (ARB compressor, Front ARB, Rear ARB, rear bumper lights, Warn interrupt kit, 1 unused bank), Batteries Plus X2 battery bought last month, Bartact front seat covers w/ seat heaters, Trail Armor rear seat cover. JVC head unit, front and rear speakers, mini Clarion amp. Kicker 6" sub not installed. Cobra hand-held CB. Speedohealer, Bedtred flooring from firewall to tail gate. Unknown brand rear corner guards.

Maintenance/repairs: OPDA, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, t/o bearing, heater core, clock spring (light is still on), multifunction switch (turn signal), water pump, t-stat, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, valve cover gasket,

Other mods: fog light w/ high beam, relocated rear spring perches.

Extras: NSG370 trans, (1) '06 Moab wheel.

Pic from last October after it's pre-hibernation wash.

I have ~51 pics, a Carfax report, and the build sheet uploaded to Google Drive for interested parties.

In the meantime,. . . .

Pic from last Friday after claybar, rub, polish, wax, & interior wipe down.

Of the four floor pan sections, this has the most rust. 🤪

Inward frame rail pics because "OMG the outward side is coated therefore hiding chicken wire and paper mache!"

JK, unless you say yes😆.
Someone is going to get a great jeep. That's a very reasonable price for an LJR. In CA I could see someone asking in the 20's for it.

Thank you for subtly pointing out the skidplate is gouge-free from not being dragged over rocks. 🤙

If this hasn't sold, someone needs to snatch it up. A fantastic price, and no major rust. In the area it's listed, it's a no brainer!

Thanks for the kind words. The title history, as expected, is a deterrent for many. Colorado, for example, would revert the tile to salvage upon registering this LJ. Other states likely have the same law/policy, I don't know which.

I consider this LJ to be worry-free enjoyment. I'm not deterred from driving/using it due to adding mileage, mods, etc.

What’s the story behind the salvage title?

The owner twice removed was involved in an accident. The previous owner (person/business I bought it from) bought it at auction and swapped front clips with a khaki TJ Rubicon from their inventory. The previous owner runs a body shop and fixes/flips repairable vehicles.

Here's the pic I found from the auction:

And a pic from the 1st night in the garage when I drove it home from Kentucky.
