2006 LJR "UCF skids and tummy tuck"

Man that looks good! You worked through some tough spots, especially with that lo pro mount. Nice work! I’m loving the look, and a flat skid to boot, nice!

Following up with the winch install. December '18
Bought a UCF winch plate and modified the mounting to place it closer to the grill.
Picked up the cheaper synthetic rope Warn (Chinese) winch off eBay during their 10% off sale.
Couldn't find a front bumper I really liked so I went this route.

After reading the headlight upgrade threads I finally decided to put Cibie reflectors in with Phillips extreme halogen bulbs. (I'm not big on cheap chinese LED's) Was originally going to use the Hellas but read where the Cibies outperformed them.

Cibie 82440 housing:

Phillips 130% Extreme halogens:

Kind of a lame picture passenger side Cibie, driver side stock. Cibie much whiter. A vast improvement as all have said:

PS: Dont hate on my Factor 55 bling. (Bought before I realized it wasn't TJ Forum approved)

I'm running that same light combo, and it's so much better than stock. Did you upgrade your wiring and relays too?

After going thru this UCF process....I couldn't help but think maybe the Genright weld in mount and a removable skid might have been a better set up.

Just to clarify, you went with their highest, lowest profile option right? I was looking at their middle option of the 3 because I dont have the ability to modify things like you have had to on your install. The middle option should have enough clearance to bolt right up without cutting and welding?

I went with the highest / low profile one.

I believe their middle model uses UCF's lo-pro mount if I recall so there would probably be the same mod process involved.

I milled mine but a grinder would sure work.

Thanks! I do own a grinder so that's within my scope. I'm a parking lot shade tree mechanic.

I did the middle option, no cutting or welding needed with the 241. Needed a cable shifter, adjustable rear upper CAs, and a new drive shaft. Did have to trim the rear spring perches after rotating the pinion up. Had 2.5 SL, 1.25 BL, and 1" MML installed prior. Needed the BL for sure. Used oem trans mount
