Changing the transmission fluid in my 2006 wrangler 4.0l 6 speed manual. After finally finding a way to get to my drain plug, through the skid plate. What fluid do y’all suggest? I have some Pennzoil synchromesh..

I used Amsoil in my 6speed. Meets OEM ratings or did at least during the time I purchased the fluid.
This stuff changed on a monthly basis on what meets or doesn’t based on what supplier is willing to pay the Manufacturer the dough to get them listed.

Might be a good flushing fluid. Put it in for a couple of weeks, then change it out for MTL. That's what I ended up doing with Valvoline.

Go Redline. Save the other stuff for a different vehicle. Or you (like me) may likley be draining it out to put Redline in later. The difference in gearbox shifting can be dramatically better. Trust me. I learned the hard way.
