FWIW, I paid $17,500 for my 2004 2 years ago. It was similar in miles and equipment to this one (I didn't get a hardtop). I think it's important to know how it is lifted. If it is lifted with Currie Quality stuff, the price is OK. Mine was lifted with Skyjacker stuff and I ended up replacing the track bars, steering gear, and control arms. I drove 500 miles to get mine. Everything around my home was similarly priced and worn out. Good luck with your search.
Most of the time they are. But like anywhere, if you leave them outside exposed to the elements (it rains a shit ton here), they will rust over time. Still, the rust won't be anywhere as bad as it is in the mid-west and east coast.
