So has anybody on here been brave enough to drive a 4 banger with 32's on stock 4.10 gears? I'm well aware that I'll have to regear later down the road for 33's but I'm having a 2.5 inch lift installed Friday and I dont want it to look too ridiculous only running 31's. I'll take some before and after pics but can anyone show some pics of their jeeps with 2-3 inches of lift on 31's or 32's?

The pic attached is how it sits now with a 2 inch BB lift and a 1 inch body lift. I took the body lift off... Which reminds me of another issue I can't get the rear of the jeep to sit back on its bushings.. The front and sides went back down just fine but the rear didnt...

FWIW I had a YJ with the 2.5, 4.11s, 31s, and a 2” lift and my God it was miserable. If you’re doing 31s/32s go 4.88. If you know for sure you’ll be doing 33s, go 5.13s.

I dont know which set they are exactly but they are bushwacker flares. And I decided on a lift becausese most of my steering and suspension componets are worn extremely bad. I went ahead and bought the moog problem solver "kit" and the lift kit I'm getting replaces all the control arms, track bar, shocks, springs, and sway bar links.

You'll want to re-gear as soon as you can afford it, I can tell you that much.

I ran the 2.5 manual on 33s for about 8 months. Was fine around town, not so much on the highway. I’ve been running 4.88s ever since and it’s like a whole different Jeep. Mountain passes are still slow, but otherwise it’s fantastic.
