32s vs 33s: Let’s see em!

buying tires for recently lifted 2.5 in 04 TJ with 3.73’s mostly street driven. Trying to decide. Relying on your pics, and words of experience. Thank you in advance

05 lj with 3" spacer lift and 32" pro comp mt's. I have the 6 speed and 3.73 gears. Plenty of power on road driving. Plan to go to 33's when these wear out.

They were on the jeep when I bought it. I like that they cover the width of the tires, but am a fan of the look of factory flares.

When you say 32s vs. 33s, are you wanting photos of either, or photos from someone who has run both on the same TJ?

When I purchased my TJ it had 33 inch unbalanced tires on 16 inch rims. I couldn’t drive 60 without major shakes. I switched my rims to 15 inch and went with 32 inch KO2s. Felt that I would need to make more adjustments to my current 3 inch budget boost(actual is 2.5 lift) if I went with 33s. I will let others speak to that as I am a newbie. I have the 3.07 gears, and can say it is not a bad ride as far as the gearing but would hate to make her move 33s with the current gearing

Yeah, it's bad!! 5th gear barely exists.

32's with a 3/4 spacer lift. Works good on road, but not enough room to flex off-road. Just ordered a 2" suspension lift and 1.25" body lift so i can move up to 33's. Will run the 32's until they wear out or I can sell them

Actually, I like the 33's better only because they are a bit narrower tire than the 32's and don't sling mud up the side of the jeep as bad. If they made a 32x1050x15 tire, I'd be all over that!

I like the 33’s better. I guess the question would be, Am I going to sacrifice drivability? How much? I have a Dana44 with 3.73’s. Do they rub? Are you using a spacer? I’m running a stock rim

33x10.50x15 with a 3.5 lift.

32x10.5r16 with a 2 inch lift

For daily driving and stock gearing I prefer the 32s on stock rubicon rims over the 33s.
