Need new wheels and was thinking of going to 17” wheels. Need to stick with 35” tires and am not sure if the smaller sidewall would look funny. Any pics to share of 35’s on 17” wheels on a TJ or LJ? Google images returns tons and tons of JK images. Thanks.

35s and 16” rims fit the bill. The unlimited has 17” pintler beadlocks looks very good too.

I actually like the look of a TJ with 35’s and 17” wheels.

Now 33’s and 17” wheels on a TJ is fugly.

35's on a 16 or even 17 look good, IMO, and should still have good compliance when aired down. If you are running 33's or smaller the 15 looks and works better.

I have thought more lately about dropping down to a 35 on my 17” beadlocks. I think I would enjoy the rig more knowing that it’s a little less hard on the axles and steering. It’s on 37s now which I didn’t expected happen. A friend offered me a set of 5 BFG Krawlers with 80% tread for $500.... that’s what I ended up with.

35's on 17's are the go to for the Toyota world (where I also play) don't see why not for here.

Purely astetics no?
