I’m debating on moving up to 35s from 33s I have 4.56 with nv3550, I’m 80% pavement and was wondering if I would be ok running 35s with 4.56?
You want a minimum of 4.88.
I know 4.88 is the most recommended but I already have 4.56
It’ll roll. It’ll also be sluggish.
As bad as 3.73 and 33s? I ran that a for months and was ok with it

Only you know what your acceptance level is. Some people claim that 35s and 4.10s are okay. I wasn't okay with them and I wouldn't be okay with 35s and 4.56s.As bad as 3.73 and 33s? I ran that a for months and was ok with it

That is opinion that stemmed from the days before there were OD transmissions every lift kit had to have a dropped pitman arm.
I'm not really ok with 35s and 4.88. It was great with 33s. Now with 35s, 5.13 would be much nicer.

You’ll still be cruising at around 2500 rpm at 70 which is close to what all the 5.38 and 35” 4 speed autos are doing (or 5.13/33).
