42RLE transmission question about hard shifts

First, have you disconnected your battery yet? Do that before your next start up. If the hard shift is gone, it's the PCM. The hard shift will come back, but rebooting will stop it short term. I have had the Wrangler Fix PCM in for a couple months now and I have no shift problems any more. I agree, check your fluid, but if the reboot gets rid of the hard shift, you will need the PCM replaced. I recommend the wrangler fix, it works.
 
Hi, I have a 2004 Wrangler Automatic. Bone stock other that 30 inck K02s. Shifts hard going to the last gear (4th? OD?). Does it cold or hot. I do not see the PCM fix listed for the 2004. I checked the trans fluid and was low hot and added almost a quart. The dipstick says at cold it should be in the lower marks but it desnt get cold in AZ (define cold) and it is always above the cold marks so I ride for 10 mins and check it. Its in the hot area. I didconnected Pos terminal for 20 seconds to reset PCM. Any ideas?
