1992 Wrangler base 4.0 five speed. DRL's not turning off. I have removed the firewall relay, no help. Removed fuse block fuse, no help. Removed both at the same time, no help. Replaced switch, no help. Is there a color coded wire to cut/splice to put in a switch for on/off use. There is not a disconnect om the drivers side firewall as on other year models. Right now I am plugging in the new switch for night driving use. I don't mind if the DRL's work, not a priority. Thanks for any advice if anyone has also had this problem. Because wiring for model years differ suggestions for 1992 year specific would be great.

1992 manufactured in Canada equipped with DRL's. DRL's were mandatory then and are still mandatory on vehicles manufactured in Canada. I have read several threads on several site's on various year jeeps with various lighting issues but so far nothing specifically for this on a 92. Thanks for the response.

Oh. Interesting. I didn’t know the YJs had DRLs. I knew the Canadian TJs did. But not the YJs.
