2 owner Wrangler, I have owned it since 2000, has 89K miles on the chassis, and less than 2500 miles on the engine (swap was done in 2015).
The jeep has never seen a Michigan winter, was stored every winter (no rust, and a solid frame).

Has a completely rebuilt 5.2 Magnum out of a 2000 Dodge Ram, backed by a NV3550 transmission, NP 231 transfer case with 4.11 gears.

This is a very clean and fun jeep to dive. I just don't have time for it anymore.

Drivetrain details are as follows:
  • 2000 5.2 Magnum bored 0.030 over, 9.5 to 1 compression, Hughes Performance CI heads, camshaft, roller rockers, headers that vent to a high performance catalytic converter and then to a single 3" exhaust with flowmaster muffler
  • The engine wiring harness is integrated into the factory harness, so all factory gauges and idiot lights and everything works like it should.
  • Mated to a NV3550 5 speed transmission (completely rebuilt) with a centerforce clutch and hurst shifter
  • Followed with a NP231 transfer case with slip yoke eliminator kit
  • front and rear Tom Woods driveshafts
  • Dana 30 front axle, Dana 35 rear axle with a super 35 axle, detroit locker, and axle truss.
  • 4-inch Tera-Flex upper and lower short arm lift kit, with front and rear track bars, and quick disconnect front sway bar.
  • 33" super swamper SSR tires on MT wheels.
Other details:
  • Have both full and half doors for the jeep
  • Sahara Front and Back Seats
  • Full welded roll cage
  • Rock Sliders
  • Warn 9500 high speed winch
  • Heavy Duty rear bumper with High Lift jack and mount
  • Smitty bilt front bumper (still have the original bumper with tow bar)
  • Halogen Headlights and LED Tail lights
  • Lange Mirrors for when you don't want to use the doors.
Too much to list. I have all photographs and documentation of everything associated with the V8 swap. Even the original window sticker. This is a super clean fun Jeep to drive that needs to find a new home.
