97 Wrangler California emissions “catalyst” label

HI all, thanks for the help! Forgot to update here. I tried a couple of smog shops before I gave in and just bought the emissions sticker. I ended up calling the dealer so they can give me exact part number for the sticker that matches my VIN(there's multiple) . Anyways, found it on eBay for 25 bucks, took it to smog shop and they passed it.

This is for future CA smog troubles out there for other people. My TJ is originally not from CA so it has Federal emissions standards. When the catalytic converter was replaced with an aftermarket one, we got one that was CA approved since we can't get the non CA approved ones here. Anyways, according to smog tech, that is okay as long as you replace ALL the CATS to California ones. Since 97 TJ's only have 1 CAT, mine was ok. Also, SAVE your paperwork/receipt of what CAT you put on so they can "make sure" it's for your Jeep.
