98 TJ quadratec LED tail lights wont work

So I did my research, went with the quadratec LED tails with relay for my 98 Sport. They won’t work went plugged in, at all. I sent one pair back and the new pair won’t work. My standard brake lights work, minus the burnt out bulbs, but when I plug the LED’s in, nothing. Any ideas? I have LED turn signals in my front fenders.

Did you get the LED flasher to go with it?

Yes I did, it installed fine and didn’t work with our without the relay. But my OEM lights did for both

Are the lights bolted to the Jeep? They ground through the bolts, not the harness.

X2 to this. It’s the most likely explanation.

Fellas - thanks for the advice here about the grounding issue. I was having the same problem with these same tail lights and as soon as I bolted the light/housing to the body of the jeep, the tail light worked. I've yet to encounter an issue that can't be solved by searching the archives of past threads on this forum.
