So I just got this jeep from my neighbor it was over heating and I put a new water pump thermostat belt and battery on this jeep he took it today to get it smoged so we can do the transfer of title he said bc I put a new battery in that the jeep needs to go about 60 mph so the computer registers the cats as working I took the jeep to 80 mph when I test drove it to see if it was over heating still does anybody have experience with this do I need to take the car to 60 for a minute or so any help is much appreciated

This is normal. You’re going to have to drive it around for sometime before the systems are ready to pass smog.

Thank you man this is my first jeep and idk much about them lol 😂 but do you think a 4 inch lift kit with some 35’s would give me 6 inches of lift
Do you have 0" of lift and 31s right now? If so then yes.

The evap tests are performed between 1/4 and 3/4 tank. Assuming you're within that range it would only take about 50 miles or so before all the tests are ran.
