I have a 2005 4.0, I know I have a very very slow leak in it given i vacuum tested when I bought it and it held vacuum over night, charged it and used it occasionally for a few weeks. Gave up on it going into winter and hadn’t used the ac in it in 6 months and it’s empty now. This morning I charged some dye into it and refilled my system to the factory spec for the ambient temperature (70°) at about 35ish psi for the low side and about 240ish for the high side. My problem is that the air coming out of my vents is only 61-62° which is only 10° cooler than ambient temp. There’s no way that’s all the cooling it has. Everything seems to be working as it should blend door is fully rotating from hot to cold compressor is running properly as well. It does seem to be dripping a decent amount of water out of my drain and the lines are very very wet. Granted it’s humid in Texas and I’m no stranger to seeing cars dripping a ton of water from the moisture but it seems a bit more than normal. Anyone got any ideas on why it wouldn’t be cooling anymore than 10°? I had this same issue when I charged it after buying the jeep. My 2000 Sahara used to blow insanely cold compared to this and I’ve even seen a chart in another forum claiming I should be around 38° for the ambient temp of 70°
