Orygun, the wet side...
While contemplating my front lawn this morning, it needs mowing, I looked at my '99 Suburban and wondered "What would it take to herd that thing over the Rubicon? ".

Just for fun, what'cha all think? It's a huge, heavy beast with horrible break-over angles and the articulation on a geriatric osteoporosis victim. The IFS doesn't help either.

It does great on 33's for what I use it for, but the Rubicon?!

Another crazy StG58 idea...

What a supportive bunch.

It is a family joke though. "If Dad sticks his suburban, we're just going to bury it where it is".

Hay @Squatch, did you know that the GVW on my K2500 Suburban actually let's me carry the SE in the back? The Sub can carry 3,500 lbs and the SE weighs 3,300 lbs. It doesn't fit in back though.

8" of lift, Dana 60 to complement your 14 on 40's. Narrow the fenders, lower the nose of the hood.
Boat side the rockers, run the no-door look. Chop the roof off and do a flat bed conversion.
A tugboat hood ornament and a new pair of sunglasses.

Some friends of mine took this one on the Rubicon. Not sure all the details and it wasn't that clean looking when they did it, so I can't say how far in they went.

Found a magazine pic with the story and pics of it on the trail.
