Check what your fuel pressure is. I'm sure you have checked the air filter and confirmed there is no other blockage to the engine. This type of problem is commonly fuel related. Or sometimes ignition timing.
Other than acceleration, is there any other problems? Bad idle? Preignition? Backfire?

What kind of spark plugs did you use? What did you gap them to?

Also, a 1996 is a YJ, not a TJ.

Bene, vedo il problema. Non hanno costruito un TJ nel 1996.

Che tipo di candele hai usato? A cosa li hai spalancati?

Inoltre, un 1996 è un YJ, non un TJ.

They actually start production runs for a year the Year prior. So a 1997 would have production beginning in 96. I think it was meant more as a light-hearted joke.

The YJ ended production in 1995 and the TJ started production in 1996 but was released as a 1997 year vehicle. They did a early release of in the summer of 1996 but all are called a 1997. I have a EARLY build 1997 TJ. Mine was built in 1-96 so yes they were built in 1996 but Jeep called them a 1997. They used parts from the YJ like the heater controls and as I am finding out the wiring on the early ones are differnent. But that only applies up to about June 96.

To clarify production dates...
The YJ did stop production in December 1995, but there were numerous YJs remaining. They were sold until early 1996.
The TJ started production in January 1996 (dubbed 1996.5), but the TJs made it to the showrooms in April 1996. .

The three p020x codes are your fuel injectors. Which could cause trouble with the O2 sensors.

Have you done anything to the injectors recently?
