Adding steps with Smittybilt XRC rocker guards?

I just bought a 2013 Rubicon unlimited that is lifted and I'm needing steps. My question that I need help with is... I have smittybilt SRC rocker guards on the jeep already...is there any steps or any way to add steps to this certain rocker guard..or am I screwed and have to take off the rocker guards and just buy new nerf bars? Thank you..

You could find a fabricator to cut and weld a step onto what you already have.
