Adjustable bump stops necessary for 2-2.5" lift?

Looking to get a 2-2.5" (new spring) lift (BDS or RC, and yes I know BDS would be better). I am going with 31's, and the occasional off-road situation will be logging roads (nothing major, but the occasional rutted dirt road)
My questions:
Do I need adjustable bump stops? Anyone install without?
Comparing the BDS and RC, will I need a .75 front spacer for either? So far, I am not planning on installing a wench, but might in the future....

With any lift you will need to set your bump stops at the appropriate size. There is a thread on here that details the process. Each Jeep is different so there is no single answer of what size you will need.
Personally I'd forego the suspension lift and install a body lift. You'll have plenty of room for 31's while avoiding the pitfalls that come with a suspension lift.
If you go with the suspension lift avoid RC shocks. Rancho 5000's are about the best you can get at a reasonable price.

You need to cycle the suspension and get the appropriate length bumpstop. Bump stops go on the lower perch, not in the cup.

Bumpstops are not adjustable.

I am not planning on installing a wench, but might in the future....

A wench always comes in handy. Far more useful than a winch.
