Our club did a dual ride this past weekend. Usually we only pic ONE destination, but since Coppinger Cove was 10 miles away from AOP, we made it the second day wheeling adventure

AOP is 407 miles from my home....so I loaded up and headed out

Met up with some buds and rolled thru the Gorge between NC and Tenn

I have literally hundreds of epic cool water crossing pics and videos, as well as awesome waterfall crawl pics and videos...but not posting those in the open due to butthurt environmentalists that will eventually get this trail system closed

I had a great time exploring the Cove a few years back. How deep is the water with all the rain we've been having?

The entry crossing was about 24" deep. The deepest of them was 1/2 way up my bumper. The sound of the water slapping the bottom of my tub reminded me of days on the lake skiing in my youth :D

The waterfall had about 4" of water on the upper portion

But all over you could see whee leaves were stuck in the trees a good 12ft above the water level from weeks past

Wow! That's some beautiful country. Thanks for posting, I'm so envious. Here where I live, there's just nothing remotely like this!!

The 2 very different approaches to the same obstacle :borra2:

Fun at the racetrack

One of my favorite sections at AOP...are the 70's trails over on the bottom right of the park
