You might have to do the JK turn signal mod in the grill or mount a small led on them to be legal. Depends on state laws.

I see tons of people that don't run the lights but alot is going to vary on local laws and local law enforcement..in my hood the only way you are getting pulled over for lack of marker lights is if they want something to pull you over for
I would probably install some form of turn signal just for liability purpose. If you were involved in an accident other driver could make a point of no turn signal. The cops in the Denver metro area seem to be very lax in writing tickets for anything. I just saw a paper temp plate from 2020 on a pos subaru and 9 out of 10 cars run the stop signs in our neighborhood..
